It's So Easy Being Green

Last month we had a party to commemorate the final arrival of my Permanent Residency Card (aka, my green card . . . which is actually white).

On September 20th approximately 40 good friends and neighbours, dressed in their green finest, gathered at our house to toast our good fortune and to dine on BBQ pork and chicken, corn pudding, cucumber & tomato salad, baked beans and mac n' cheese.

It was great to be surrounded by so many good people, all of whom have supported us in our immigration journey and helped us out in more ways than they probably know.

Oh, and if I never see the colour green again, that would be just fine.

Oh, close one!

Take THAT pinata!

Obviously an American-made pinata. It wouldn't bust open so David ripped it apart.
