5 Dog Nights

Very recently our neighbours across the street got married in North Carolina. While they were on their honeymoon we had the pleasure of doggysitting their two pups, Barley and Pogo. Those who know us know that we love just about any and every four-legged companion, and we definitely had a full house with two extra dogs around. It felt especially full since our little guys don't total 30 pounds altogether.

But the five canines played, napped, shared toys, napped again and played for the entire week-and-a-half that Barley and Pogo were with us. Mikey, my sweet little senior citizen of a dog, really couldn't care less about the extra animals . . . just as long as they didn't interfere with his meal times. Finnegan and Hank, however, were over-the-moon about having their friends stay over. It definitely gave us yet another opportunity to witness, firsthand, the different personalities, traits and quirks that every dog has.
