The Curse Has Lifted

I've had string of bad luck when it comes to plants and flowers recently. In fact, that might be a bit of an understatement. It might be more accurate to say that I've been the Dr. Kavorkian of plants; they arrive at our house beautiful and full of life, and within a matter of days they're wilted and brown. It's almost as though plants come to our home to die.

At first it was neglect. I often forgot to water them and they'd, naturally, dry out and wither away. Then, in my attempt to take care of them I would overcompensate and overwater; essentially drowning the poor things.

Well this year seems to be a little different. Not only are most of the things I planted thriving, but the vegetable in my little veggie garden are actually showing signs that they will provide us with a bountiful harvest.
